What does Dry ice Cleaning involve?  Do I need it?

Dry Ice Cleaning, also known as cryogenic cleaning, is a blasting technique similar to sand blasting, but makes use of solid CO2 or dry ice pellets.  Dry Ice Blasting is a non-abrasive blast method which is fast and effective . Dry-ice blasting is an efficient  cleaning method. and is made of reclaimed carbon dioxide that is produced from other industrial processes. It also reduces or eliminates employee exposure to the use of chemical cleaning agents.  Dry ice Cleaning is rapidly becoming the preferred cleaning method in various sectors including automotive, construction, food, plastic and the electrical power industries.

At TCMS we understand that dry ice blasting cannot clean everything, however it is suitable for the vast majority of industrial applications that may have used alternative cleaning methods in the past. Our experienced team will offer expert, impartial advice on the right solution for you and we will only recommend dry ice blast cleaning if we feel it’s the most appropriate method and makes economic sense.
